What Is It Used For ?
Ultram is used to relieve pain, including pain after surgery. The effects of tramadol are similar to those of narcotic analgesics. Although tramadol is not classified as a narcotic, it may become habit-forming, causing mental or physical dependence. |

It is important that the doctor has your complete medical history. Consult with your doctor if you have a kidney disease, liver disease, seizure disorder, lung disease, a history of drug related dependency, pregnant or breast feeding.
How Is It Used?
Use Ultram exactly as prescribed. Do not increase your dose, use it more frequently or use it for a longer period of time than prescribed because the drug can become habit-forming. Do not suddenly stop using this drug without doctor's approval.

This medication may cause dizziness, weakness, nausea or vomiting, stomach upset, constipation, headache, drowsniness, anxiety irritability, dry mouth or sweating. Symptoms usually lessen shortly after taking medication.
